Cerebral angiogram, ICA, lateral projection, shows an incidentally discovered Type B CCF supplied by branches of the MHT with inferior venous drainage via the basilar plexus (cavernous sinus, black arrow; horizontal segment of cavernous ICA, blue arrow). The patient presented with a ruptured brain arteriovenous malformation and was asymptomatic from the CCF. The CCF was observed with follow-up. Image courtesy of John D. Nerva, MD.
